Democracy in Iraq is an experience that needs more treatments, some of which are of an intellectual nature and others of an institutional and constitutional reform nature. The conflicts and differences between the political blocs remained, as well as the absence of the popular desire to support such calls for reform, since the component mentality is the one that dominates the current political scene with the almost complete absence of a national identity based on Iraqi citizenship.
