Abstract

The political scene in the Middle East region today is completely different from previous years, especially after the occupation of Iraq in 2003. The roles of the region’s countries and the weights of the main powers have emerged: the internal and external problems of Iraq, the rise of Iran, and the decline in the status of Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The strategy. This was exemplified by the rise of Iran as a regional power in the region that has invested remarkably change and elaborate planning, and this is clearly evident in the Iranian nuclear program under which the strategic papers in the region were arranged again and Iran's exploitation of the vacuum after the political chaos and weakness that afflicted Arab countries in general Especially after the events of September 11th.

Therefore, the Islamic Republic of Iran entered a new phase in its foreign relations after the nuclear agreement it signed with the (5 + 1) group, which was signed in July 2015 and entered into force on January 15, 2016, and this phase was marked by an improvement in Iran's relations with A number of countries and their retreat with other countries, while the reluctance and reluctance to implement the agreement remained on the American side throughout the last months of President Barack Obama's rule, who opened a different page of the relationship with Tehran. With the coming of Donald Trump to the presidency, Iranian-American relations returned to a triangle of absence (trust, tension, and threat), as he expressed in (President Trump's) statements and translated them into a series of sanctions and breaches of previous promises, and the equivalent in (Tehran), from Escalation and struggle for influence in more than one geography, all of which are common, which have provided us with years of instability at the price of which the entire Middle East region has paid for, and may continue for years to come.
