Turkey has worked on adopting ideological orientations through which it endeavors to enhance its role across region, and to bring Turkey back as an influential state based on the history of the Ottoman Empire, once a dominant force in the region. Iraq is considered at the forefront of the regional countries within which turkey has sought to play an increasing role. In fact, Iraq is given an extremely significant place within Turkey’s   regional orientations due to the sizeable economic interests between the two countries.
