The impact of political globalization on the future of international relations

This study aims to clarify the nature of political globalization (historical development, concept - political dimension of globalization) as well as the negative and positive effects of political globalization on international relations in the Arab world. The inductive approach was relied upon in its analysis of the research topic as well as historical, descriptive, and prospective methodological comparisons. The study concluded that political globalization has a direct impact on international relations, whether positively or negatively, and that political globalization has affected the structure of the state and national sovereignty as well as its impact on national identity and political systems. Political globalization has a major and significant role in the course of international, regional and local relations, in addition to using the concept of globalization in its various forms as a pressure tool and a means to direct the interests of major countries.
