Samarra Hawza and National Identity

The specificity of the civilizational, religious and demographic city of Samarra had a clear reflection on the identity visions of the( Samarra’s Hawza), which preserved its peculiarity among the other Shiite religious schools . The ( Samarra’s Hawza) established the national line in (Religious Marjaia) path, and this realization carried a forward-looking vision embodied by the post-2003 events, especially after the bombing of the two holy shrines in 2006, which showed that Samarra is the nerve center in the structure of the Iraqi national project and its national identity.
