Yemeni women are considered the most affected segments of society since the beginning of the conflict and war, as conditions have imposed a very difficult reality on women, and they are facing great challenges. In addition to the traditional roles that it plays, she has become bearing difficulties beyond her ability in order to maintain the economic and social cohesion of society. Women and children represent the most vulnerable group in the population.
There is no doubt that women have an essential role in providing for their families, especially in difficult circumstances. The paper shows the positive impact of women's economic empowerment, whether in improving the economic and humanitarian situation, or in supporting the peace-building process and the cohesion of societies.
The microfinance program and its support for small projects have played an important role in reducing unemployment, providing livelihoods for a wide range of the most disadvantaged groups in Yemeni society, and improving the standard of living of Yemeni women in addition to empowering them economically.
