Criticism of Totalitarianism in Contemporary Western Political Thought

The effects of the emergence of the totalitarian state are a political crisis that contemporary societies have suffered from and that has begun to cast its shadows on national policies and systems international community has also suffered from it because of the racist, expansionist ideologies it carries, the existence of which was not ended by the victory of liberal democracy. Rather, our societies today still suffer from racist, oppressive, expansionist opinions and ideas in their internal and external international dimensions, especially after the disintegration of the Soviet Union and the failure of socialist thought, so that the West depicts to us the victory of Western values and principles, especially American ones, so that we face a totalitarianism of a new type of totalitarianism of the twenty-first century.
