تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى ترسيخ مفهوم الإنتروبيا كإطار تحليلي في الدراسات الاستراتيجية والأمن القومي، وذلك بتتبع مساره الفكري من أصوله الديناميكية الحرارية إلى تطبيقاته المعاصرة في تحليل ديناميكيات النظام الدولي. وتتناول الدراسة إشكالية مركزية: كيف يُسهم مفهوم الإنتروبيا في إعادة صياغة الفكر الاستراتيجي المعاصر، وما هي دلالاته على مقاربات الأمن القومي في بيئة دولية تتسم بالتعقيد وعدم اليقين؟ تفترض الدراسة أن الإنتروبيا، كاستعارة أساسية، تُوفر إطارًا تحليليًا قادرًا على تفسير ديناميكيات التفكيك وإعادة البناء في الأنظمة الاستراتيجية بما يتجاوز القدرة التفسيرية للنظريات التقليدية. وتخلص الدراسة إلى أن مفهوم الإنتروبيا يُقدم أدوات تحليلية متقدمة لفهم التحولات الهيكلية في النظام الدولي، وآليات تدهور الأمن، وإمكانيات إعادة بناء النظام من خلال هياكل تبديدية.
