Abstract

The issue of enabling women in political life has attracted the attention of many in academic circles, especially with the growing wave of legal legislation that has tried to establish ways to enabling women in contemporary societies. The study focuses on the nature of women’s enabling in general and political  enabling in particular, while giving privacy to the Iraqi experience, especially in light of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq for the year 2005, that is, after the process of democratic transformation in the current political system, and based on the government curriculum that emphasizes the need to integrate women into political life And strengthening its active political participation in sovereign positions, in a way that guarantees constitutional rights and provides it with opportunities to win the House of Representatives and local councils, as well as the case for ministerial and other positions in line with the democratic transition in the Iraqi political system after 2003.
