This paper deals part of the repercussions of the Russian war in Ukraine on the vision and perception of countries for their own position within the geopolitical map of the world. It studies the repercussions of the war on Algeria, especially with the good relations it has with Russia since the era of the Soviet Union. Given the political, economic, security and strategic dimensions of the conflict in Ukraine, the Algerian vision focuses on building new or renewed regional alliances in its Mediterranean space, especially as it possesses an energy weapon (gas and oil), which was evident by strengthening relations, economically and strategically, with Italy and Turkey. Therefore, this paper deals with the determinants of the Algerian vision of the conflict in Ukraine, and provides a reading of the new alliances in this context, by addressing the Algerian-Russian relations, then the Algerian vision of the crisis in Ukraine and its repercussions, and finally talking about the options available to Algeria in light of this war and its developments, focusing on relations with Italy and Turkey.
