Political Jurisprudence , Cognitive Approaches, DeductionAbstract
This research addresses the outputs of contemporary Islamic political jurisprudence in terms of analysis, inference and abstraction tools, as well as the difference in the topics of this jurisprudence compared to what it was in the medieval times, taking into consideration that Islamic political jurisprudence as a whole is the result of a mentality governed by text, experience and the political, social, and economic reality experienced. The development of this jurisprudence has been observed from the perspective of the research methods used (deductive approach), as new methods have been introduced in the interpretation of Islamic texts, especially Western cognitive methods, in addition to the development in the topics addressed by contemporary Islamic political jurisprudence.
