سياسة تركيا المائية تجاه العراق منذ العام 2011 وافاقها المستقبلية

تعد أزمة المياه في العلاقات العراقية التركية منذ عام 2011 واحدة من أبرز القضايا التي أثرت على العلاقات بين البلدين، إذ يرتبط الدولتين بنظام مائي مشترك يضم نهرا دجلة والفرات، مما يجعلهما يعتمدان على وجوب وجود إدارة مشتركة للمصادر المائية. الا ان الذي حصل هو اتجاه تركيا الى اقامة نظم مائية تتناسب واحتياجاتها ومواردها المائية بينما عانى العراق من ضعف في وجود السياسة المائية مما جعله يعاني من ازمة مائية، وقد تزايدت حدة الأزمة نتيجة لتوسع تركيا في بناء السدود، وعلى رأسها مشروع سد “إليسو”، والذي أثر بشكل كبير على تدفق المياه إلى العراق، مما أدى إلى آثار بيئية واقتصادية واجتماعية خطيرة.
