ان موضوع الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية ، اصبح يحظى باهتمام المجتمع الدولي، منذ عدة عقود، نظرا لحجم المخاطر المرتبطة بالجرائم ، المشمولة بهذا التصنيف. اخذت الدول تتعاون فيما بينها ، ثنائيا، وبصيغة متعددة الاطراف ، وعبر منظمات دولية حكومية ، ومنظمات غير حكومية ، من اجل لجم الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية. يهتم البحث، بدراسة : التعاون الدولي، والهدف منه : الحد من الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية.
