Abstract

The eastern Mediterranean region, in recent years, has witnessed rapid developments and changes in the pattern and nature of relations between the influential forces in its security equation, whether about prestige and influence, or on many related contentious issues, especially after successive and important discoveries of its energy sources on the one hand, and the adoption of some forces On the other hand, it seeks new roles through which it seeks to obtain a position commensurate with its ambitions in regional influence.
